I find these just stunning. Just shows how beautiful even the smallest details are.
The classic series of Sherlock Holmes vs the Robert Downey jr Movie Sherlock Holmes. In chibi! Let the adorable battle begin.
If you haven’t seen the new 3-part BBC series yet, I encourage you to try and find it online (or look out for repeats). It’s set in modern times, written and managed by Stephen Moffat and Mark Gatis – who do some great Doctor who episodes – and stars benedict cumberbatch (who did a stunning main role in the Stephen hawking biography/drama) and martin freeman of office fame. funny, clever and vastly entertaining – it’s my newest fandom
Here’s a funny clip from episode 3 featuring Watson and Sherlock
That’s…..That’s just scary looking.

II loved My little ponies as a kid (and i’ve still not forgiven my mum for getting rid of most of them -lol) These are modified to look like all your favourite geeky characters, and I must admit for most of them the work and detail that’s gone into them is stunning. very nicely done.
Fyat
Apparently women often find bald men sexier. (heloooo Patrick Stewart! <3) So guys, please, I beseech you, NEVER try a comb over. Shave it off. shave it all off!
The Creepiest Fan Art – Hufifngton Post
I admit it. I draw fanart and like to faff around with established characters (slash *cough* slash), but some of the art out there is just creepy or competely odd. Personally mpreg creeps me the hell out (apart from that ‘junior’ film with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny Devito – good times). Some of these are very well done, some are awful. all are a little unsettling. That said, trawl around 4chan or deviantart long enough and it gets much worse…happy freaky hunting!

A blog dedicated to ‘man’s greatest achievement’ the beard. beard fans unite! lol
I was a bit hesitant about sticking this up since it’s mature as hell (NSFW means ‘not suitable for work’ for those not in the know), but one of my friends linked me to it and I’ve got to admit that it’s usually funny as heck. It’s a webcomic with a dungeons-and-dragons setting and strong sexual themes: innovative, funny and well drawn, and it updates every Sunday (which is somehow ironic :p)
100 underapprecaited movie quotes
Every year, the Golberg family photograph portraits of themselves and as the years go by they put them togetehr to show themselves ageing and their families growing. I’ve really gotten back into Kate Nash recently. I know a lot of people don’t like her much, especially since she somewhat rode on the coattails of Lilly Allen’s success, but to me she still stands out as different. I adore the poetry of her lyrics for an example, and the playful edge to her music. Plus it’s darn catchy and she’d decent live.
So, here’s my favourite – an adorable and realistic little love-song that always touches me.
Another great video from Collegehumor, featuring my fave superhero.

Quote of the Day
“Mr. Madison, what you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.”

Other Side – By Pendulum
I’ve been listening to Pendulum constantly since I discovered that they were playing to Leeds festival this year (so I get to see ‘em
). I bought the new ‘immersion’ album and ‘in silco’ to go with the ‘hold your colour’ album I already had. I’ve got to say that ‘In silco’ is my favourite out of the three. Some real classics there. This is one of my favourites, which literally did not leave my head for a week after I heard it. I think I’ve exorcised it for now…just.

Hacked IRL
Don’t get me wrong, graffiti is often shitty and messy. Same goes for vandalism in general. However there are times when it’s utterly awesome, and enriches the public surroundings, making a great joke, statement or art piece, and generally just celebrating the human spirit. So long as it does no harm and doesn’t cost much money, I’m all for it. So enjoy these great ‘real life hackings’, I know I did.
Incredibox
I had so much fun with this little application. I just wish there was a way to record them onto your computer as a music file. Oh well. Still worth a good few minutes fiddling about it.
Ridiculous Poses
Ahh, why is it so satisfying to see models make tits out of themselves. Poor ladies and gents. Still, while I actually like a lot of these creative poses, there’s still a hell of a lot of “WTF?!” going on, and it’s very entertaining.
‘Criminals Used to have Character’
I love both history and art, and here it comes together wonderfully, as we see the distinctive criminal characters of yesteryear. All the distinctive faces, and the way they seem to have a certain dignity lost nowadays is awesome. Very interesting stuff.
