Check your calendars ladies and gents, what is it?
The 10th you say?
No, more important than that:
The Procrastination Station is 6 months old!
*throws confetti*
Yep, it certainly doesn’t feel like this blog was started six short months ago. It started off as a place for me to keep all the cool stuff I find on the ‘net (because god knows I spend too much time there) , and soon grew into something i love sharing with you all in the hopes of entertaining you. I hope that over the months it improved for you guys as well as I added new features, got organised, and took it more ‘seriously’.
Nothing would make me happier then to know that you guys enjoy your little slice of procrastination.
So happy half-birthday, I hope to keep doing this for years to come.
Yes, the posts here have ground to a bit of a halt at the moment, I’m concentrating on getting my work done as Y3 of uni comes to a close. So I’m gonna focus on that. BUt the good news is that when I’m back hopefully I’ll have a buttload of new content for you all, which’ll be epic all ’round.
My last exam is on 28th May, so I’ll be free form then
boo-frikkin-yah!
Until then, here’s a nifty little video you HAVE to watch if you like (or hate) Harry Potter. Awesome
Anyways, this week we have a theme – so expect a lot of scrolling with this installment – comix!
I just love these, they always make me giggle. I’m sure i could find more, but then we’d be scrolling for the rest of our lives. So, for now, enjoy this small selection.
In picking this picture, I only just realised how appropriate it is for easter (tee hee) so added bonus!
methinks I feel a theme coming on…
-ahem-
Anyways, I’ll be away this weekened, so the usual list and Friday review will have to be postponed until sunday. and again April 2nd I’m off on holiday for a week.
Buuut – I have a couple of reviews lined up for ‘Don’t mess with the Zohan’ and the new ‘Alice in Wonderland’ and plenty of nifty links.
So i’ll be around, but at any rate, have a great easter for while I don’t see you
And, in leaving, here’s a vid from the great, completly camp, musical ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’
Welcome, welcome!
Work is tight, as ever, and when stuff gets me down i love to listen to music, so i thought I’d jazz it up a little today and have a change in pace by having a whole post dedicated to epic tunes
First and foremost, here are 3 of the CDs I bought this week [all hail student loans!] and some of the best tracks on them.
Then there’s a big ol’ list of all teh band I’m into. I’ve linked each one to my favourite song form them, so hopefully you’ll enjoy it and discover something new. I’d love to hear your comments.
#2 – ‘Only revolutions’ – by Biffy Clyro [excellent stuff]
I love Biffy Clyro’s newer stuff. It’s alternative, the lyrics are always great, and I love love love their Scottish accents
Born on a horse – i love it cos of the lyrics and how unusual it is I pronounce it Al-u-mi-ni-um, ’cause there’s an I next to the U and M / now write it down slowly and read it out fast. / she’s got eyes, preposterous eyes. / I’ve never had a lover who’s my sister or my brother before
I’ve resisted putting my art stuff up here for a good long while, but since it’s the end of the year I thought I’d get nostalgic and look back at all the stuff I’ve done this year and compare it to some old stuff last year, just to reinforce the whole ‘oh lord how time flies!’ sentiment. lol
It’s weird what changes and what stays the same. Here’s hoping I’m improving…
Hi everyone, sorry I’ve been missing in action for a couple of days. I made the move from uni back home for Christmas so didn’t manage to get around to updating. But I’m back now and as a little apology here’s an epic video for any Snatch or StarWars fans.
Enjoy!
[note: beware of swearing. Probably don't want to turn up your speakers while you're nan's around :p]
