Whew! It’s been a while, eh?

Uni is finally over, which is a little insane. Still getting used to the free time, let alone anything else. Gotta adjust and all that jazz. I just can’t wait to get home and start my life off properly. should be neat 🙂

Still, for all you dudes and dudettes still working, why not grab a cup of tea, take a break, and pursue over our fat list of goodies?

Art of the Day

Diana Rikasari

An artist I found on deviantart, I just love her bright vibrant photos with a childish (or rather, tween) cheeriness to them. Check it out for the colours alone if nothing else 🙂

Sleep Talkin’ Man

This is a pretty funny blog where a wife chronicles all the bizarre stuff her husband says in his sleep, even with sound bites. For example, this gem:

“Yeah, I say, clean your teeth with pie crust. Shiny. Shiny shiny.”

Stop Alien Abductions

Your “WTF?!” of the Day

I try not to judge people, I really do. People can believe what they like, and I do try to keep an open mind about the unknown, including aliens. But still, this site is bat-poo crazy. Enjoy

Gives Me Hope

Showing that life is still beautiful.

I thought this was a lovely site – lots of bittersweet anecdotes that make you proud of humanity. Check it out and have a tissue or two ready. (and don’t wory, it’s not a religious site)

Eclectic Method – Robots

A funky music vodeo made by using various popular Tv/film programme’s robotic sounds.Quite catchy in a weird way.

Motivation of the Day

Crazy Awesome Facepainting

By James Kuhn

One word: epic.

Defining a decade – the 90s

In words

ahh sweet nostalgia. The idea of teh 90s being ‘vintage’ is somehow upsetting to me. I feel old!

Music of the Day

Five Finger Death Punch – The Bleeding

I love this song – it’s been playing on the radio a lot recently. Just the right amount of soft and metal mixed together. Plus he has a beautiful voice. Thumbs up.

10 most unusual Mirrors

Which one would you buy?

I like most of these. the ‘how tall are you’ mirror is pretty interesting too.

10 cool tricks…

To play with your brain

The Human mind is a crazy thing, and you can trick it.Let me know in the comments if any of these work 😀

If Video Games Were Real..

Shopping Spree

Think Geek ‘Live Long and Prosper’ Foam Hand

This is just awesome. It almost makes me want to go to a sporting event just to show it of…..almost. Maybe I’d take it to my next rock concert instead. :p

Craft Corner

Beeton’s Book of Needlework

A book of needlework you can read online, originally published in 1870. historically I find it fascinating, plus there’s a lot of Victorian patterns and techniques that those who like needlework (esp tatting and lacemaking) with no doubt find fascinating too. Well worth a look, even if it’s just a curious glance at the old patterns
